Digital painting

As part of my Museum series, this image was inspired by a visit to the Museum of Old and New Art MONA) in Hobart Australia. This is a personal collection shown in an underground museum that has been carved out of a hill side into solid rock. Large spaces are often only dimly lit, letting the visitor lose themselves in the atmosphere as well as discovering hidden artistic gems. This aura of mystery was my interest as I show people descending a staircase from one space through another.
